Product Description
1. Product Overview
The NMK modular slip-ring motor (type NMK450L8A) is a three-phase AC asynchronous slip-ring motor designed for heavy-duty industrial applications with high load inertia. It delivers high starting torque with low starting current, making it the ideal choice for mill drives and sites with weak or unstable network conditions.
By minimizing mechanical stress at start-up, NMK motors extend the service life of downstream driven equipment. They deliver maximum availability and consistent high torque across the entire speed range.
NMK motors are available in shaft heights from 400 to 710 mm, with standard configurations of IC611/IP55 and IC81W/IP55, and are rated up to 10,000 kW.
