The AMI series are modular high‑voltage induction motors built for outstanding reliability and stable performance under heavy‑duty industrial operating conditions.

Built on a mature modular platform, these squirrel‑cage induction motors support flexible customized configurations to satisfy diverse application requirements. They conform to global relevant industrial standards and can run with direct‑on‑line starting or match variable‑speed drive systems.

Adopting welded steel housing structure, AMI motors offer multiple standard cooling and protection combinations including IC01/IP24W, IC611/IP55 and IC81W/IP55. Frame heights range from 400 mm to 630 mm, supporting both horizontal and vertical installation forms.

Though the catalog main technical data is displayed under 50Hz condition, the motors adapt to both 50Hz and 60Hz power supply, delivering synchronous speed ranging from 500rpm to 3600rpm. The catalog‑covered power output reaches up to 8000kW, while the full product range can achieve maximum 23000kW.

Mounting arrangements

IM B3 (IM 1001): Horizontal foot‑mounted, standard configuration.

Enclosure and cooling

IC01 / IP24

It belongs to weather‑protected motor design, fitted with shaft‑driven internal cooling fan inside the housing. Optimized air intake structure limits incoming air velocity below 3 m/s and sets multiple over‑90‑degree turning passages. Heavy impurities will settle down before entering core electrical components. This unit defends against rain, snow, airborne particles and omnidirectional splashing water.

IC611 / IP55

Totally‑enclosed motor equipped with air‑to‑air heat exchanger. Shaft‑mounted fans are arranged inside and outside the motor separately to maintain internal and external cooling circulation. It provides reliable protection against dust and splashing water from all directions.

IC81W / IP55

Full‑enclosed structure matched with air‑to‑water heat exchanger. Internal shaft fan drives inner cooling loop. The enclosure reaches IP55 grade for dust and splash‑water resistance.

IC31 / IP55

This version reserves air inlet and outlet interfaces for external remote cooling air source. It removes the top cover of standard AMI motor housing, still keeping IP55 protection against dust and splashing water.

IC01

Variant with asymmetric inner air circulation layout.

Packaging

Export‑oriented seaworthy packing is adopted as standard option, including plywood case or fumigated wooden case. The package is robust enough for long‑distance sea and land logistics transportation.
