AMI series modular induction motors feature high reliability and stable availability, perfectly adapting to tough and complex industrial working conditions.

Customizable based on diverse customer and application demands, these motors are developed on the industry’s mature modular platform. They not only meet various harsh operation requirements but also support personalized configuration adjustment. All products comply with international relevant standards and are applicable for both direct-on-line (DOL) and variable speed drive (VSD) operation modes.

The motor adopts an integral welded steel frame. Standard matching cooling modes and protection grades include IC01/IP24W, IC611/IP55 and IC81W/IP55, with a standard shaft height ranging from 400mm to 630mm. It supports horizontal and vertical mounting methods.

The technical data in this catalog is calibrated based on 50Hz working condition, while the motor can operate stably under both 50Hz and 60Hz frequencies, with a synchronous speed of 500 to 3600 rpm. The rated power of models in this catalog is up to 8000kW, and the full series power range can reach 23000kW.

3. Mounting Arrangements

AMI motors provide two standard mounting types, with customized mounting solutions available on special request.

• IM B3 (IM 1001): Horizontal foot mounted
• IM V1 (IM 4011): Vertical flange mounted (free shaft end facing downwards)

4. Enclosure and Cooling Methods

4.1 IC01 / IP24

This weatherproof motor is equipped with a shaft-mounted built-in cooling fan. The optimized structural design effectively prevents rain, snow and airborne particles from entering the electrical components. The air intake velocity is controlled below 3m/s to settle heavy impurities, and the air duct adopts three acute-angle turns over 90 degrees to further optimize airflow, realizing all-directional splash water resistance.

4.2 IC611 / IP55

Fully enclosed structure equipped with an external air-to-air heat exchanger. Shaft-mounted fans are installed inside and outside the casing to drive internal and external cooling circulation respectively. It provides excellent protection against dust invasion and all-directional splash water.

4.3 IC81W / IP55

This fully enclosed motor is fitted with an air-to-water heat exchanger and a built-in shaft-mounted fan for internal cooling circulation. It features dust-proof and splash-proof performance for all working directions.

4.4 IC31 / IP55

Configured with independent air inlet and outlet pipes for remote cold air supply, adopting a top cover-free frame structure. It can effectively resist dust and all-directional splash water.

4.5 IC01

Equipped with asymmetric internal air circulation structure to ensure uniform internal heat dissipation.

5. Packaging

Adopt standard export seaworthy packaging, including plywood packaging and wooden fumigation packaging options. The packaging is sturdy and durable, suitable for long-distance sea and land transportation.

6. Warranty Period

• Standard Warranty: 12 months after equipment commissioning or 18 months after product delivery, whichever comes first.
