Product Description
1. Product Overview‑AMI Modular Induction Motors
Featuring high reliability and stable availability, AMI series engineered modular induction motors are well‑suited for harsh and demanding working conditions.
Customizable to satisfy individual‑customer and application‑specific requirements, the motor adopts a mature modular platform. It can meet diverse rigorous operating demands while supporting highly‑specialized configuration adjustments.
The AMI modular motors comply with relevant international standards. They support both direct‑on‑line (DOL) and variable‑speed drive (VSD) operation modes.
The motor adopts welded steel frame structure. Standard available combinations of cooling modes and protection grades include: IC01 / IP24W, IC611 / IP55, IC81W / IP55. Standard shaft height ranges from 400 mm to 630 mm, supporting horizontal and vertical installation.
The technical data shown in this catalogue is based on 50 Hz condition. Nevertheless, the motors can run under both 50 Hz and 60 Hz, with synchronous speed ranging from 500 rpm to 3600 rpm.
The power range covered by this catalogue reaches up to 8000 kW, while the full‑series maximum output power can reach 23000 kW.
2. Mounting Arrangements

3. Enclosure & Cooling Modes
IC01 / IP24
Weather‑protected design, equipped with shaft‑driven internal cooling fan.
The structural design minimizes ingress of rain, snow and airborne particles into electrical components. Air‑inlet velocity is controlled below 3 m/s to realize gravity sedimentation of heavy particles. The air inlet adopts three‑time over‑90° sharp turning structure to optimize airflow rate. The motor can resist water splashing from all directions.
IC611 / IP55
Totally‑enclosed structure fitted with on‑board air‑to‑air heat exchanger.
Shaft‑driven fans are installed inside and outside the housing for internal and external cooling circuits respectively. Provides protection against dust and omnidirectional water splashing.
IC81W / IP55
Totally‑enclosed motor equipped with air‑to‑water heat exchanger. Internal shaft‑driven fan serves the inner cooling circuit. Dust‑proof and resistant to water splashing from all directions.
IC31 / IP55
Comes with air inlet and outlet pipes for remote cooling air supply. The motor housing removes the top cover structurally. It is dust‑proof and resistant to water splashing from all directions.

Features asymmetric internal air circulation.
4. Packaging
Export‑oriented standard seaworthy packaging, including plywood case or fumigated wooden case. Suitable for long‑distance sea and land transportation.
5. Warranty
Standard warranty term: 12 months upon commissioning, or 18 months after delivery, whichever comes first.
