Built upon a proven modular platform, these motors offer tailor-made solutions to meet specific customer requirements while maintaining high adaptability. The AMI series complies with all relevant international standards and supports both Direct-On-Line (DOL) and Variable Speed Drive (VSD) operations.

Key Features

• Robust Construction: Features a welded steel frame with shaft heights ranging from 400 to 630 mm.
• Flexible Configuration: Available for horizontal or vertical mounting, with output powers up to 8,000 kW in this catalogue (complete range extends to 23,000 kW).
• Wide Operating Range: Designed for both 50 Hz and 60 Hz frequencies, offering synchronous speeds from 500 to 3,600 rpm.
• Enclosure & Cooling Systems
  The AMI series offers versatile cooling and protection options to suit various environments:

1. IC01 / IP24 (Weather Protected): Features a shaft-mounted internal cooling fan. The air intake path is engineered with three acute direction changes (>90°) and limited air velocity (<3 m/s) to prevent the ingress of rain, snow, and airborne particles. Protects against splashing water from any direction.
2. IC611 / IP55 (Air-to-Air Heat Exchanger): A fully enclosed design with an air-to-air heat exchanger. Shaft-mounted fans circulate air in both internal and external circuits, providing complete protection against dust and splashing water.
3. IC81W / IP55 (Air-to-Water Heat Exchanger): A fully enclosed motor utilizing an air-to-water heat exchanger. Ideal for environments where ambient air quality is poor or water cooling is preferred. Offers full protection against dust and splashing water.
4. IC31 / IP55 (Remote Cooling Air): Equipped with inlet and outlet pipes for external cooling air supply. Essentially an open-frame design without an upper cover, suitable for ducted cooling applications.
5. Mounting Arrangements

• IM B3 (Code I: 18 / Code II: IM 1001): Horizontal foot-mounted.
• IM V1 (Code I: 19 / Code II: IM 4011): Vertical flange-mounted (free shaft end facing downwards).
• Note: Custom mounting arrangements are available upon request.
• Packaging & Warranty
• Packaging: Standard seaworthy packaging (plywood or fumigated wooden cases), suitable for long-distance sea or land transportation.
• Warranty: Standard coverage is 12 months after commissioning or 18 months after delivery, whichever occurs first. Extended warranty options are available upon request.
