Developed on a proven modular motor platform, AMI motors can be fully customised to match individual customer and application requirements. They support a wide range of complex working scenarios and allow flexible configuration for special‑purpose operating conditions.
Fully compliant with major international standards, these motors are suitable for both direct‑on‑line (DOL) startup and variable‑speed drive (VSD) operation.
Adopting welded steel frames as standard, AMI motors offer multiple standard cooling‑protection combinations: IC01 / IP24W, IC611 / IP55 and IC81W / IP55. The frame shaft height ranges from 400 mm to 630 mm, supporting both horizontal and vertical mounting installation.
While this catalogue lists primary technical data under 50 Hz, AMI motors run reliably at both 50 Hz and 60 Hz, delivering synchronous speeds ranging from 500 rpm to 3600 rpm. The power scope covered in this document reaches up to 8000 kW, and the full product portfolio extends to 23000 kW.
