Mounting Arrangements

Enclosure and Cooling Systems
The AMI motors offer multiple cooling and protection options to suit various environmental conditions:
- IC01 / IP24W (Weather Protected): Features a shaft-mounted cooling fan inside the housing. The air intake path is engineered with three acute direction changes (exceeding 90 degrees) and maintains an average velocity below 3 m/s. This design effectively settles heavier particles and protects against rain, snow, and splashing water from any direction.
- IC611 / IP55 (Air-to-Air Cooled): A fully enclosed design utilizing an air-to-air heat exchanger. Shaft-mounted fans are installed both inside and outside the casing to manage separate cooling circuits, providing complete protection against dust and splashing water.
- IC81W / IP55 (Air-to-Water Cooled): A fully enclosed motor equipped with an air-to-water heat exchanger. An internal shaft-mounted fan supplies the internal cooling circuit, ensuring optimal protection against dust and moisture.
- IC31 / IP55 (Remote Air Cooled): Fitted with inlet and outlet pipes for remote cooling air. This configuration essentially utilizes the AMI motor frame without an upper cover, maintaining IP55 protection against dust and splashing water.
Packaging and Transportation
To ensure safe transit, all motors are packed in standard seaworthy packaging suitable for long-distance transportation by sea or land. Options include sturdy plywood cases or wooden fumigation packages.
Warranty Policy
- Standard Coverage: 12 months after commissioning, or 18 months after delivery, whichever occurs first.
