Product Description
AMI series are modular high‑voltage induction motors built for outstanding reliability even under harsh working conditions. Built on a proven modular platform, these motors can be custom‑configured to satisfy diverse and demanding industrial requirements.
Fully compliant with global relevant standards, AMI motors support both direct‑on‑line (DOL) and variable speed drive (VSD) operation. The motor adopts welded steel frame. Standard cooling‑protection combinations include IC01/IP24W, IC611/IP55 and IC81W/IP55, with frame height ranging 400‑630 mm. Both horizontal and vertical mounting options are available.
This catalogue displays 50 Hz technical data only, yet the motors can run at 50 Hz or 60 Hz, delivering synchronous speed from 500 rpm to 3600 rpm. Catalogue‑covered power reaches up to 8000 kW, while the complete product range extends to 23000 kW.
Mounting Arrangements

Enclosure & Cooling Options
IC01 / IP24
Weather‑protected construction with shaft‑driven internal cooling fan. Air‑inlet channels are designed with multiple sharp turning angles and controlled air velocity below 3 m/s to trap heavy particles, blocking rain, snow and airborne debris. It provides protection against splashing water from all directions.
IC611 / IP55
Totally enclosed motor fitted with air‑to‑air heat exchanger. Internal and external shaft‑mounted fans serve separate inner and outer cooling loops. Protect against dust and omnidirectional splashing water.
IC81W / IP55
Totally enclosed design equipped with air‑to‑water heat exchanger. One shaft‑mounted internal fan maintains inner cooling circulation. Dust‑proof and resistant to splashing water from all directions.
IC31 / IP55
Equipped with inlet and outlet pipes for remote cooling air supply. The motor frame comes without top cover. It offers protection against dust and splashing water from any direction.
IC01
Features asymmetric internal air circulation.
Packaging
Export‑grade seaworthy packing, plywood or fumigated wooden cases. Suitable for long‑distance sea and land transportation.
Warranty
