Built on the motor industry's most successful modular platform, these motors are tailor-made to meet specific customer needs. They offer the flexibility to be adapted to highly specific configurations while matching a broad variety of demanding application requirements.

3. Mounting Arrangements
Standard mounting arrangements are provided for AMI motors, with other configurations available upon request:
- IM B3 (Code II: IM 1001): Horizontal foot-mounted.
- IM V1 (Code II: IM 4011): Vertical flange-mounted (free shaft end facing downwards).
4. Enclosure and Cooling Options
The AMI series offers multiple standard cooling methods and protection types to suit various environments:
- IC01 / IP24W (Weather Protected): Features a shaft-mounted cooling fan inside the housing. The air intake path is designed with three acute direction changes (exceeding 90 degrees) and an average velocity not exceeding 3 m/s. This allows heavier particles to settle and reduces the ingress of rain, snow, and airborne particles, protecting against splashing water from any direction.
- IC611 / IP55 (Air-to-Air Heat Exchanger): A fully enclosed design with an air-to-air heat exchanger mounted on the motor. Shaft-mounted fans are fitted both inside and outside the casing for dual cooling circuits. Provides protection against dust and splashing water from any direction.
- IC81W / IP55 (Air-to-Water Heat Exchanger): A fully enclosed motor utilizing an air-to-water heat exchanger. A shaft-mounted fan inside the casing supplies the internal cooling circuit. Protected against dust and splashing water from any direction.
- IC31 / IP55 (Remote Cooling Air): Fitted with inlet and outlet pipes for remote cooling air. Essentially the AMI motor frame without an upper cover, offering protection against dust and splashing water from any direction.
5. Packaging
- Standard Export Packaging: Seaworthy plywood package or wooden fumigation package.
- Suitability: Fully suitable for long-distance transportation by sea or land.
6. Warranty Period
- Standard Warranty: 12 months after commissioning, or 18 months after delivery, whichever comes first.
