AMI series modular induction motors are built for high reliability and stable performance under harsh industrial operating conditions.

Custom‑engineered for individual customer and application requirements, these motors adopt a proven modular platform. They support extensive configuration adjustments to satisfy diverse demanding working scenarios.

Fully compliant with global relevant standards, AMI motors support both direct‑on‑line (DOL) and variable speed drive (VSD) operation modes.

Constructed with welded steel frames, the motor offers standard cooling‑protection combinations: IC01 / IP24W, IC611 / IP55 and IC81W / IP55. Standard frame sizes cover 400 mm to 630 mm, supporting both horizontal and vertical installation.

While this catalogue lists 50 Hz technical data only, AMI motors run on both 50 Hz and 60 Hz power supplies, delivering synchronous speeds ranging from 500 rpm to 3600 rpm. The catalogue‑covered power output reaches up to 8000 kW, and the full product range extends to 23000 kW.

Enclosure and Cooling

IC01 / IP24

Weather‑protected design with shaft‑driven internal cooling fan. The air‑inlet layout limits airflow velocity below 3 m/s and adopts over‑90° sharp‑turn air channels to trap heavy particles, minimizing rain, snow and debris ingress into motor internals. It safeguards against water splashes from all directions.

IC611 / IP55

Totally enclosed structure fitted with an on‑board air‑to‑air heat exchanger. Shaft‑mounted fans serve internal and external cooling circuits separately. The motor achieves full protection against dust and omnidirectional splashing water.

IC81W / IP55

Totally enclosed motor equipped with air‑to‑water heat exchanger. An internal shaft‑driven fan maintains inner‑loop cooling. Dust‑proof and splash‑proof for all‑direction water splashes.

IC31 / IP55

Designed with inlet and outlet ducts for remote cold‑air supply. Based on AMI motor frame without top cover. It provides reliable dust resistance and splash‑water protection.

IC01

IC01 version with asymmetric internal air circulation.

Packaging

Export‑grade standard seaworthy packing.

Options include plywood case or fumigated wooden case.

Suitable for long‑distance sea and land transportation.

Warranty Period

Standard warranty: 12 months upon commissioning or 18 months after delivery, whichever occurs earlier.
