Frame & Housing: The motor frame and end shields are fabricated from high-strength grey cast iron with proven manufacturing processes; ductile iron is available as an optional upgrade for extremely harsh operating environments. Thickened frame walls, integrated box-type end frame construction and reinforced mounting feet deliver superior structural strength and rigidity. The housing features cast horizontal and vertical cooling fins, with four axial air ducts running through the interior. Additional horizontal and vertical cooling ribs are arranged inside the frame aligned with winding overhangs to maximize internal heat dissipation area. The terminal box is mounted on the side air duct of the motor, while two diagonally positioned lifting lugs with adjustable angles are fitted atop the air ducts for convenient handling.

This motor adopts independent external and internal cooling air loops to deliver optimal cooling performance while minimizing energy losses. Heat generated by the stator primarily transfers from the stator core to the frame before being dissipated by external cooling airflow. Heat from the rotor and stator winding overhangs is transferred to the frame via the internal cooling circuit.
For the external cooling loop, cooling air flows across the frame cooling fins from the non-drive end to the drive end. Aerodynamically optimized frame fins greatly boost cooling efficiency. The terminal box is positioned clear of the cooling fins to avoid blocking airflow, while internal cooling ribs surrounding the stator winding overhangs maximize heat dissipation.
In the internal cooling loop, the built-in internal fan circulates air through rotor ventilation holes, continuously transferring internal heat to the frame and end shields. The frame acts as a heat exchanger between internal and external air streams. Cooled air recirculates parallel to the external airflow through four internal ventilation ducts in the frame for staged cooling, ensuring even heat distribution across the whole motor.
This dual-loop cooling design not only raises the motor’s power density but also maintains consistent temperature distribution throughout the unit.

Our high-voltage motors utilize a well-proven insulation system refined over years of operation. Combined with imported technology and modern upgraded manufacturing procedures, the system features an increased mica content and remains under continuous optimization. The stator winding is insulated with Class 155(F) materials, with coil overhangs firmly secured and bundled. During production, windings undergo multiple inter-turn impulse voltage and ground withstand voltage tests, followed by solvent-free VPI vacuum pressure impregnation treatment. This delivers superior dielectric strength, robust mechanical integrity, as well as outstanding anti-corrosion and moisture-proof performance. Special anti-corona coating is applied to coil sections, enabling stable and safe motor operation at high altitudes.
Both motor ends are fitted with continuous oil filling and draining fittings for routine grease replenishment. Internal components include stator temperature sensors, bearing temperature detectors and anti-condensation heating elements. Bearing or stator temperature monitoring instruments can be installed on-site upon customer request to enable real-time temperature tracking.
Aluminum die-cast rotors are supplied as standard. Adopting centrifugal or pressure die-casting techniques, molten pure aluminum is poured into rotor core slots and formed in a single casting step, integrating rotor bars and end rings into a unified component. The aluminum casting construction and production process deliver unmatched rotor reliability while providing excellent torque performance. Larger power motors adopt copper bar rotors, which are supported by stable bar fixing, sound end ring welding and retainer structures for high-speed units to guarantee long-term trouble-free running.
