The YPKK series high voltage three-phase asynchronous motors (frame size H355–1120) feature a reasonable structure and advanced technology, offering high efficiency, energy saving, low noise, low vibration, reliable operation and easy installation and maintenance.
Motor power, mounting dimensions and electrical performance comply with the national standard GB755-2000 "Rotating Electrical Machines — Rating and Performance", the industry standard JB/T10314.2-2002 and relevant IEC standards.
The motors are designed for environments with altitude no more than 1000m above sea level, ambient air temperature no more than 40°C, and without serious dust, corrosive or explosive gases. Versions for hot and humid zones and plateau areas can also be produced according to order requirements.
The motor adopts a box-type structure with a steel plate welded frame, giving light weight and good rigidity. A closed air/air cooler is mounted on the top of the motor, easy to dismantle and install, which is helpful for maintenance and repair.
The stator uses an external pressure mounting structure. Stator windings are made of F-class insulating materials, with ends reliably fixed and tied. During manufacturing they pass multiple turn-to-turn impulse voltage tests and withstand voltage tests to ground, and are treated with advanced vacuum pressure impregnation solvent-free paint (VPI) equipment and process. As a result, the insulation is excellent and reliable, with good mechanical strength and strong moisture resistance.
The squirrel cage rotor adopts a copper bar structure manufactured by advanced and reliable welding technology, and is verified by dynamic balancing, ensuring smooth and dependable operation.
Two bearing types are available, rolling bearings and sliding bearings, depending on motor power and speed. The motor supports frequency conversion speed control within 5–50Hz, with rated voltage 6/10kV and protection level IP44/IP54/IP55. Other voltage, frequency and protection levels can be provided on request.
All measuring apparatus and instruments are calibrated every year, and quality control is carried out for each item.

Every motor must be tested before leaving the factory. Only qualified motors are shipped, and each motor comes with a test report.
Routine test items: winding three-phase DC resistance, winding insulation resistance to ground, winding withstand voltage test, no-load current, no-load power, no-load loss, three-phase no-load current imbalance, locked rotor current, locked rotor torque, maximum torque, rotation direction, vibration (horizontal, vertical, axial), noise.
Type test items: full load input power, full load current, stator winding loss, rotor winding loss, iron loss, mechanical loss, other losses, full-load slip ratio, stator winding temperature rise, bearing temperature, thermal winding insulation resistance, overload test, full-load power factor, efficiency.
